Hybrid Streetlight

The Hybrid Streetlight is a self-generated lighting system powered by both the sun and the wind. It features a solar panel on top, and a vertical-axis wind turbine positioned. Since it is self-powered, it can be installed anywhere without expensive trenching and wiring.

The advantages of the Hybrid streetlight over traditional grid-connected street lights are:
* No cable trenching required
* Zero CO2 emissions
* Life-cycle cost savings

Where is the Hybrid System used?

* Campus and Residence Walkways
* Public Parks
* Corporate Parking Area
* Sport and Entertainment Venues

In short, anywhere lighting and/or security are needed without the inconvenience and expense of excavation for electrical infrastructure.
